THE BLACKFRIARS BOOK CLUB RETURNS!

Want to read some great plays? Have some stimulating conversations? Meet some fellow theatre enthusiasts? Welcome to the Blackfriars Book Club! If you're like us, sitting at home looking for ways to connect and be inspired, here's one way to get involved. The Blackfriars Book Club is a monthly event curated by BT's artists, Eric Evans & Kenya Malcolm. It's ALL virtual and since we're a theatre, we'll be reading plays instead of books! BT Book Club a free program and open to anyone in our community. But space is limited - so register now and enjoy from the comfort of home!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Blackfriars Book Club will meet virtually one night of every month at 7pm. The program will last about 60-90 minutes and will consist of an open conversation between all participants, facilitated by our BT artists. Blackfriars will announce the play to be read and discussed early in the month, and then we’ll meet over Zoom at the appointed time. To attend the virtual meeting you’ll need a working email address and a smartphone, tablet, iPad or computer with a camera and microphone (or headphones).

HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Click the “ADD ME TO THE EMAIL LIST!” button above, complete the reservation form - please make sure your email is correct - and we will send you a copy of the script and the information for the virtual meeting. Sign-ups are open to everyone and after you sign up once, you’ll be on our monthly list and automatically receive an email invite. Please note: if you register but don’t receive anything from us after 48 hours, please email us at info@blackfriars.org. Sometimes our responses may go to your spam folder and you might not receive our emails.
